Compared to other offroad car sims like OffRoad Drive Desert or Car Offroad Simulator, Offroad Chronicles offers a more casual single-player experience that lets players enjoy at their own pace. It boasts impressive high-quality graphics and objective-based missions across various unique maps and challenging locations.
Offroad hauling
In Offroad Chronicles, you play as a cargo truck driver in charge of delivering goods from point A to B. As its name suggests, though, the journey is far from straightforward as you will need to go through rough terrain and weather conditions to get to where you need to go. Your task is to transport them to their designated destination undamaged.
You will drive through various unique maps and take on over 150 missions in Offroad Chronicles, battling muddy roads where your wheels struggle to get a grip on snowy mountains where a wrong turn can spell disaster. Use a Winch to pull yourself from trouble or plow through thick snow using specific trucks. It features simple but realistic driving controls with a gearbox manual transmission.
The detailed console-quality graphics, realistic vehicle physics, and distinct engine sounds only add to the immersion of it all. That said, there's one particular area where the game could use some improvements, and that is with its maps. As it currently stands, they all feel rather small, with minimal car traffic and establishments, resulting in a lifeless environment. Hopefully, this can be addressed in future updates.

In summary, if you like truck sims that offer some challenge, Offroad Chronicles is a game worth looking into. It looks great, offers plenty of trucks to drive, and the controls are responsive.
